Language Lessons: More Advanced Help
In a perfect world, an employer would have a payroll teeming with multilingual employees. However, filling recruiting gaps can be difficult—especially when multiple companies all are seeking the same language skills, says Tonya Stalnaker-Tiggett, owner of Speak Our Language (SOL), which conducts foreign language training. Companies may seek employee training to cover the basics, but sometimes that's not enough and a third-party interpreter is needed.

Year in Review: 2016 SOL Successes
SOL has provided over 863 hours of Spanish language instruction to 66 clients.
We continued partnering with Trinity Lutheran Seminary (TLS) with the Spanish for Ministry curriculum.
One student said that, "Eric was a fantastic professor! (He is) extremely personable and very effective." Another said that his class "was a brilliant class that aided in (his) knowledge and understanding for Spanish."
Check out our additional successes below that we are proud to share with all of you who make it possible to go to work each day, continuing to love what we do. ¡Feliz 2017! AS we like to say around SOL, "Hope to see you in class muy pronto!"
- We had a visitor throughout the Fall Semester of 2016. The lovely Lupita, from Mexico, was visiting TLS. She visited our classes each week for 30 minutes to practice spontaneous, AUTHENTIC conversation!
- Below - Tonya Tiggett, Connie Bowman (instructional designer), Lupita, and Lindsay Dollinger (teacher) enjoy a night out showing Lupita around the Columbus ZooLights!
